The Perspective of  Improvement

Thinking in retrospective i discovered what faster with 8 minutes means.
A LOT OF WORK
NOW, in order to get again better with 8 more minutes, I need to multiply A LOT OF WORK X 2

which equals ...

- Speed development

- Long runs...longer than 10K

- Alternative training
Pilates


Swimming
Cicyling
- Nutrition improvement. OFF with those sweet :(((
- More stretching

- Mental training

RETROSPECTIVE

Vienna City Marathon 2010

Distance : 42,194 km
Time      : 4 hours 37 minutes

The race :
- i have stopped several times
- haven t used any gels

The training :
- simple 5 K training
- 3 months aerobic step with 4 months before the race
- 3 major hiking trainings; each of 16 km

The mental training :
- one single quote ” TRAIN YOUR BODY TO GO FOR LONG”

Nutrition :
- healthy food, but not proper nutrition.

Amsterdam Marathon 2011

Distance : 42,194 km
Time      : 4 hours 29 minutes 30 seconds

The race :
- Calf muscle injury
- a few stops
- 2 X carb-gels

The training :
- 10K daily training
- weight training
- 2 half-marathons before the Amsterdam Marathon

Mental training :
- half year mental training

Nutrition 
- improved nutrition plan

An improvement of 8 MINUTES

...but my dearest monster, only because you annoy me and don t leave me peace ... I WILL STOP ... but, NOT TO PLEASE YOU.

about the Marathon of the Polar Circle

about the Marathon des Sables, the toughest footrace on earth :D

about the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc

the Great Wall Marathon

about riding the air

...about beautiful Japan 

...about Peru

... about becoming THE IRONWOMAN

in order to compete for the one and only



... people have it at times very hard to let go of things, of moments, of memories ...

This is curious, because in reality they really do know that some roads are already closed, they know that they reached the finish line some time ago.
...in reality, they have already been pushed on a different path, where a new SOMETHING, ANYTHING a KINDERSURPRISE awaits for them, calls them over.
...and still, they go on dreaming, recalling the peak of some beautiful past achievements.

...time doesn t stay still or frozen untill one wakes up ... we are moving on at all times, today with the :

Sunny morning run :
- distance : 5,4 km
- time       : 33 minutes 24 seconds


Thoughts ...


What if i don t know what i want to do ?
Why don t you know what you want to do ?
...
I ve been offered a place to teach in India at a moment when i was doing something i enjoyed doing.
and ?
...this made me undecided.
Why ?
Because i once read this :


“When someone seeks," said Siddhartha, "then it easily happens that his eyes see only the thing that he seeks, and he is able to find nothing, to take in nothing because he always thinks only about the thing he is seeking, because he has one goal, because he is obsessed with his goal. Did you believe it ?
I believed it.
Why ?

I believed it because i feared that i won t find anything along my path, because i thought that i have a goal with what i was doing at the moment. But the very second i thought about it that way, i started to look at the India offer as a place where i would find something ... that way a goal has been born and along with that a wrong perspective too and my sadness.

Are you ready to face your fear of not finding anything ?

I would like to make you remember the pure days of childhood ... i would like to bring under your mind s spotlight the natural, fearless and judgeless curiosity a child bears in his behaviour at all times.

...for this i will need you to close your eyes and fancy the picture of the good old chocolate egg, the one and only KINDERSURPRISE ... what joy you as a child experienced when getting one as a present.

BUT WHY ?

You always knew that there is something for you inside of it ... a tasty chocolate, mmmmm and a toy to play with or to put to your collection.
BUT, what happened  if you disliked the toy you found there ?
Have you stopped receiving chocolate eggs, have you stopped being curious about what is on the inside ?
Did you stopped being happy when receiving one because you experienced feelings of fear about what could be on the inside ?

NO ... you preceived each KINDERSURPRISE with the same joy ... savouring the chocolate while opening the yellow egg ... you have never stopped wishing for the eggs, even if at times you found just a boring toy in the inside ... you always knew that maybe the next will bear inside the wanted toy, that blue smurf or Bart Simpson :)))

And this is the same with life and its experiences which are not more and not less than a
